Chapter 1: The Beginning (Starting Now)
All years are not yet finished, and will be, as soon as able. They have not been fully written out or rendered, so this will take time.
2003:
A New Magic (Turquoise Magic Is Found)
When an unlit portal suddenly lights up while no one else is around, a new form emerges from the light. This new person is yet another Child of The Stars, named Alexander "Xander" Mckaven. This means that someone else has extremely strong powers, just like Luke Osmon. This also makes him Luke's half-sibling. After the light calms down, he stands on the platform atop the empty monster cage. Once he had a moment to process what was even happening, the light faded, and the room went dark.
Unburied Treasure (Coming To The Surface)
While Luke and Xander explore an unfamiliar structure in the dessert, a portal appears. Within moments of its appearance, they turned around. Even with their quick reaction, Xander got knocked off his feet by a shockwave when an explosion bursts out of this newly formed portal. Once the dust settled and everyone had a moment to think, they find out that this new figure was none other than the third Child Of The Stars, named Lily Rose.
2012:
Shredding and Shattering (What Truly Matters)
After a long time of trying to understand why the world was so cruel and being at war with himself over how he should act in society, Luke's body begins to rip apart and rift into something entirely new and unexpected. While he fades away, he feels a sense of peace wash over him before he ceases to have a consciousness. While he watches, he sees the forms of Defeated Cat and Black Cat forming, unsure of what will even come next for anyone, even himself, or the world.
Secrets Kept (Secrets Lost)
When Black Cat finds a new candidate for his evil plans, he brings them into his secret mansion in the woods, being watched without his knowledge. While he meets with his new candidate Lawrence, unexpected visitors listen in and watch from the sidelines, worried about what may come next. Unbeknownst to Black Cat, Lawrence's wife, Delaney, is watching them, with two of her allies. These two being Zackgo Armstrong, and William Johnson.
2016:
The Grand Opening (Drawing In Crowds)
Once the building was completely finished and she had success with getting the bees to produce honey, Kyra hosted a Grand Opening for her new business, a Bee Sanctuary & Honey Store. While she mans her welcome table with Lily , several other folks gather nearby for the reception. During which, a heated discussion between Matthew Dobson and Haley Lindley where tensions begin to build very quickly breaks out. During this unexpected aggression from Haley, Matthew begins to question if he wants to stay around this friend group much longer.
Nearby, D.B. and J.P. also converse as they begin to become exhausted of fighting for the good of Team Bright Side and destruction of Team Dark Side. They begin to form a plan for how they will end this, one that will take out Black Cat and with that, the rest T.D.S., for good. Zachary Wass watches them closely from a distance, unsure of what they are discussing but suspicious that they might be planning something. While everyone is greeted, Xander stands off to the side awkwardly as he questions why he came to the event after all.
Off to the side, Camille Pfister and Holly strike up a conversation for the first time, realizing they could be good friends. Meanwhile, all the commotion goes on, and D.C. internally struggles greatly with his own turmoil. He struggles to keep himself from dissociating and staring off into space whilst he is excited for Kyra, but he senses great conflict coming and is clueless on how to stop it before its too late. He begins to sense something may be wrong with his friends, D.B. and J.P., but he isn't sure how to bring it up. During all of this, he doesn't pick up on how serious the tensions are getting with his friend group.
2018:
I'll Be Back (In A Flash)
After developing severe emotional turmoil inside of her, Kyra runs from Team Bright Side. During this, her magenta magic aura shines bright all around her. Zach, Holly, and D.C. watch in disbelief, and stop chasing her. This would be the last time anyone saw or heard of her for quite some time.
2019:
The Table-Flip (That No One Could Forget)
After being fed up with Team Dark Side attacking her friends' Defeated Cat's Team, Delaney finally snaps. She swears to teach Black Cat a lesson about hurting Team Bright Side's people, then chases and kills a member of Team Dark Side named Celeste, using a magical blade infested with red magic that also naturally runs through her victim. This proves that D.C. had shared some of his power with her, even though she was never fully a member of Team Bright Side to begin with.
One Father, One Son (One Mother, One Murder)
After finding out about his mother Delaney's infidelity, Clarence gets into a fight and ends up killing her. Right before her last breath, she warns him that Black Cat's right hand man is actually Clarence's dad, Lawrence. Afterwards, they both show up and conveniently cover up the murder. They used this to blackmail Clarence, giving him no other choice but to join them on Team Dark Side, or risk being found out.
2020:
Our Grief (Stands Strong)
Zackgo makes a sudden reappearance after years away whilst D.C. visits D.B., J.P., and C.V.'s graves while he feels lost. Zackgo then attempts to convince D.C. to ditch Team Bright Side and move on to doing things for himself instead of others, but D.C. turns him down harshly, sensing something off about Zackgo's sudden appearance. After the rejection, he leaves again, not to be seen again.
The Two Sides (Aren't So Different After All)
In an unexpected turn of events, Defeated Cat and Black Cat come face to face after their tensions boil over from years of fighting. A final fight for the Teams they've created breaks out. After which the conclusion that they come to is that they are matched for power, and are more equal than they thought after all these years.
Chapter 2: Sign Of The Times (They Are A Changin')
2021:
One Body (All The Choices)
While distracted by their newfound realization during their battle, Defeated Cat and Black Cat's power beams collide, causing an explosion of white light that easily engulfs them both. After the light faded, what was left on the newly bleached floor, was a new form. The new form was made from personalities and memories of both D.C. and B.C.. They now are known as just Rylie Osmon, putting the end to the separation from the original Luke Osmon, after all these years.
Trying Our Best (Out of Our Depth)
Rylie, Lawrence, Zach, and Lucas meet as the executives of Team Bright Side and Team Dark Side creating a merger agreement to form Team Both Sides, to pave the way for the future.
Ta-Ta (For Now)
Rylie, Zach, Lucas, Lawrence as the executives for Team Bright Side and Team Dark Side finish all the final agreement between both sides, having dissolved the original teams once and for all. The new Team Both Sides' joined by the new member replacing Lawrence, which is Mary Tan.
Long Time No See (Old Friend)
After Rylie gets more free time, they try to find more friends to hang out with again. While out searching for an old friends of theirs, and entirely unsure if any friend will remember them, Rylie knocks on their friend Camille's door. To their surprise, Camille answers her door welcoming Rylie in with open arms.
2022:
Moving Space (Moving Time)
After Mary packed some of her sister's belongings, she and Rylie travel to Kim's house, knocking on her door. Once she answers, they talk. When getting impatient and ready to leave, Rylie attempts asking Kim to join the new Team Both Sides officially, and she accepts.
This Girl (She Isn't On Fire)
After a fire breaks out, Kyra is forced to face her fears, and she bursts out of the abandoned house she's been hiding in, having decided she's ready to return and face things she left behind.
Long Time (No Talk)
Kyra knocks on the door of Defeated Cat, to find someone new living there. This new person, Rylie, begins to explain the past 4 years without her around. Rylie and Kyra learn they're more similar than they thought and discuss their past. This makes Rylie begin to feel many complicated emotions.
Chapter 3: Questioning (This New Reality)
2023:
Who Am I (Now Or Ever)
Rylie finally confesses that they've been wanting more, feeling more, and wanting to understand these new feelings. They confess them to their good friend Camille Pfister, who helps them understand and talk out these new feelings. Camille recommends Rylie take a break to find themself, and also see what they can do to feel more fulfilled.
You'll Find Me (Deep Inside Of You)
Whilst Rylie navigates the stressful process of dissolving operations and cleaning up ties before they leave Earth, they begin to have a breakdown, going down to the basement of their house with an old magic artifact corrupted by red magic. After making a decision to change their appearance while they discover themselves, they lose themselves in a panic attack.
When this happens, Zach and Lucas feel a shift in the magic, they immediately rush to Rylie's house. Once they arrived, they raced in, and were greeted with the sight of Camille trying to help calm Rylie down as they try to destroy the part of their old identity, trying to force themselves to define who they are without having had much time to explore it.
If You're Going (We're Going Too)
Rylie lets Kyra and Alexander know that they're leaving. This starts an argument due to tensions with how things have been between Alexander, Lily, and Rylie. Kyra gets heavily frustrated, but stays quiet.
Alexander decides to leave and buy his own house, far far away. Deciding to ditch his other sibling, Lily, and Team Both Sides. He felt like there was no reason to stay when the glue that held the three of them together was leaving Earth.
Kyra also storms off in frustration, claiming she never should've come back, heading off into the distance on her own, not looking back, and breaking her ties once again.
Lily decides to take a break from magic and Team Both Sides matters but promises Rylie she'll be back if needed, anytime. She just needs space to find out who she is on her own.
Letting Go (It Ain't Easy)
Rylie Osmon and Lucas Cuellar sat down to sign papers for Rylie's departure. This is when Rylie appoints and declares all their power in Team Both Sides be shifted to Lucas. When Rylie signed their rights over, they left completely, forfeiting all say and power, also trying to be very cautious not to be caught by Zachary Wass.
Rylie did this out of fear that Zach would spin out emotionally and mess up, making him a poor leader, but could become one, given time. The power would've otherwise shifted to Zach directly, and Lucas would've become secondary leader automatically.
This left Zach as secondary leader, upset and confused, but gunning to prove he was ready for the position. He wasn't yet, but Lucas kept a close eye on it, waiting for the right day to come. This is also the last time Rylie's house is seen before it is sold, before Rylie leaves earth.
Ryls' Ya Later (It's Been Real)
Rylie is about to depart from Earth to go back to the stars and find themself, and why they were made. They know it won't be easy for Zach or Lucas, but they know this is what has to be done. Rylie knows Lucas will be a good leader until Zach has come to his senses and can take over, so they smile at their friends, before preparing to take off.
Rylie tells Zach it'll be okay and nods at Lucas before taking off into the sunset, on the turn of dusk.
Chapter 4: The Future (Its In Our Hands Now)
2023 (still):
Ghosts & Dreams (Of The Past)
Zach looked up into the night sky one night, seeing a faint glow and ghostlike appearance of Rylie in the sky. Rylie smiled down at Zach before fading away into thin air, leaving just the night sky. He remembers how grateful he is for Rylie having taught him everything that got him till now, knowing very well he may never see his best friend's face again.
Because of Rylie's departure from Earth in 2023 when deciding they needed to find themself, things had become harder for Zach. His support system changed, things got weird. This era of things, the way they are now, it wasn't something Zach ever expected all those years ago, as White Cat, or during Defeated Cat & Black Cat's time around, and Team Bright Side and Team Dark Side.
Zach is scared but he won't admit it to anyone else, only Rylie, in his heart. The only one who always knew and understood. He finds comfort when he feels Rylie's aura inside him from the powers that once they shared.
Significant Loss (Of Control)
Zach begins looking inside himself. In his head, he has been considering the past and feeling alone. He realizes that he isn't alone, in fact! There's still someone else who wants to see Rylie, too. His name is Lucas, Zach's now superior.
Zach tries to participate in his old role that he had when Rylie was primary leader of Team Both Sides, and struggles. In the middle of the meeting, he watches Camille call out Lucas for not being up to the task of being leader, and Mary tries to defend him. Zach sits there, watching Lucas handle it easily, and Zach reluctantly agrees to let another member join to help split things up more.
Jealousy (Makes Me Hate You)
Zach goes to confront Lucas, while he's still upset that Lucas got to be primary leader. They end up finding comfort in each other, talking about the old times, the memories, the adventures. They both miss Rylie, and hope to see them again one day. They also both hope that Rylie is doing well on their adventure, being happy for them.
Lucas then agreed to let Zach have primary leader, finally accepting and knowing that he was capable, seeing his strength and growth after he came to him. This caused Lucas to step down and become secondary leader of Team Both Sides.
With Great Power (Came Great Responsibility)
Zachary Wass convinces Lucas Cuellar to agree to promote Clarence Forrest to Head Advisor of Team Both Sides.
Zach and Lucas then use Rylie Osmon's old power giving and transferring magic to give Clarence powers, and promote him officially marking a new era without Rylie in charge.
The Big Plan (Must Change Everything)
Zachary Wass, along with Lucas Cuellar at the heads of the table, host the first Team Both Sides executive meeting since obtaining a new member, Clarence Forrest. Camille Pfister, and Mary Tan both join.. This meeting with all 5 members was to talk about and decide how to continue forward now that Rylie Osmon was gone, and to vote on if Team Both Sides needed any changes.
2024:
Unexpected Grievance (Circling The Graves)
After Zachary Wass and Lucas Cuellar ventured off to figure out their best plan, they found Kyra Jeffery in the old cemetery nearby. They were not expecting this, but were pleasantly surprised and curious as to what she was doing there. During this, Zach invites her back to Team Both Sides, and Lucas seconds this idea. Kyra accepts, agreeing to come back without having to be leadership or an advisor. This brought back another OG to the team, even if Rylie wasn't there anymore.
Lost Another One (To The Dark Side)
After Zach and Lucas brought Kyra back to the base of operations, Clarence gets overwhelmed, fearful of being replaced. He makes a run for it, and ends up losing his glasses. He is too focused on running and getting revenge that he doesn't stop to get them, and just decides to move on without better eyesight.
Amidst The Chaos (We Will Find Our Way)
After Clarence Forrest ran away, the team realized they still needed another team executive. They invited Kyra Jeffery into a meeting and appointed/voted her in, then and there, right in front of her. This decision was unanimously decided by Zachary Wass, Lucas Cuellar, Camille Pfister and Mary Tan. Kyra was taken aback, but knew she was there to stay and help, so she accepted the responsibility.
Rylie's Return (Unexpected By Us All)
One day, Rylie Osmon showed back up. Zachary Wass and Kyra Jeffery were equally excited and energetic, and Lucas Cuellar was excited in his own way. Rylie wasn't going to stay for long, but wanted to see how everyone was holding up. They had known Kyra would be found one day, and was happy to see her back. Rylie missed their friends, but they all were confused by Rylie's new appearance, no longer fully brown eyes, now having one green-tinted, the other red-tinted, a reference to both the bright and dark sides of themself. It was similar to the green eyes of Defeated Cat, and red eyes of Black Cat. Kyra, Zach, and Lucas all knew it meant that Rylie was more at peace now, and they had harnessed their true power. Zach and Lucas both were surprised how much Rylie had changed, since the suit was gone and their clothes didn't even have bright side or dark side color anymore. They knew Rylie was happier now, and so, they were happy for them, too.
Fun fact, this technically reunites Power Of Three (2nd Gen), in a new way, which is pretty cool. Rylie, Zach, and Kyra, even if they're all different now. Different roles, different appearances, different places in their lives. It's a different time now.
Best Friends Wherever (Even Light Years Apart)
Rylie Osmon leaves again, back to the stars. Their friends Lucas Cuellar, Kyra Jeffery, and Zachary Wass all wave goodbye once again. They all feel happy for Rylie, seeing how well they're doing, and knowing they are all in the right places now. Rylie assures them all that they'll be back one day, and that they'll be Rylie's best friends, no matter how far apart they are, even if they were light years apart.
Message (Coming Just In Time)
Rylie Osmon had felt something off as they left earth again. A twinge of darkness, it was growing, looming. They had tried to brush it off, but as they got away, they could feel it growing more and more, and it worried them. A few months after they had left earth for the second time, they felt the darkness was too dangerous and unstable. They used a power they had unlocked on their spiritual journey and from exploring their powers. They looked back to earth, and connected to Kyra Jeffery, sending her an emergency warning message, straight to her brain. She was warning her to tell the others of something bad was coming. Kyra had never experienced this before, so it worried her. She went straight to her bosses, Zachary Wass and Lucas Cuellar. She passed along the message, but knew something was wrong, and she had a feeling something big was coming, something that might tear everything they know apart. Rylie then headed straight back for earth, unsure of what was happening or why, but they knew they needed to return.
2025:
Playing (By The Same Rules As Yours)
On a quiet day in 2025, everything changed. Everything we thought we knew ended in an instant. We prepared the best we could for this. We reorganized for this.
Zachary Wass (primary leader), Lucas Cuellar (secondary leader), Kyra Jeffery (newly promoted head advisor), Mary Tan, (newly promoted advisor), Kimberly Boo-Tan (trusted member and Mary Tan's sister), Camille Pfister (advisor), Lily Rose (former member, came back to help), and Rylie Osmon (co-founder and former primary leader, now head planner) of Team Both Sides team up together, being the united front to put a stop to the fight that was coming their way. They called themselves "The Protection."
Rylie Osmon enlisted an old friend of Defeated Cat, named Delaney Forrest. She was killed by her son Clarence Forrest, in 2019, after he found out that she cheated on her husband and his father, Lawrence Forrest. Rylie used their new power of telepathy to connect with her former consciousness, and bring her back to life in front of the unity, "The Protection." The problem being, Delaney hasn't been alive since before D.C. and B.C. formed into Rylie, and she had a lot to catch up on. So, the team got to work explaining the events of the last 6 years, and gave her as much time as they could for her to process everything. She then agreed to join "The Protection," and save earth, even if it meant taking down her son, Clarence.
Mirror Mirror On The Wall (Who Do You Recognize Of Them All)
Clarence attacked, and it was worse than any of us could've ever imagined. He brought reinforcements.
Rylie, Zach, and Kyra all froze. The faces they saw were familiar. From what felt like a lifetime ago. It was Diamond Block and J.P., but how? How did Clarence reanimate them? He had others, too. Lawrence Forrest, and Defeated Cat's very old friend, CreeperVision.
Rylie looked at Zach in total fear, frozen and unsure of what to do. Lucas called out to Rylie, less startled by all of this, since he hadn't been around for most of the time that Diamond Block and J.P. were around. The 4 of them realized that Clarence had accessed Team Dark Side's old projects, and data, and had reanimated the two former members of Team Bright Side and the Power Of Three (1st Gen). Rylie had lost them as Defeated Cat, many years ago. Rylie had also been the one to steal the DNA and memories and info on those two beings, as Black Cat, many years ago. Rylie knew, the only way to defeat these, was to kill them. The Protection would have to fight what used to be everything to Rylie, so many years ago.
The Solution (Fixing Our Problem)
Rylie knew what to do. They told Zach, Kyra and Lucas their plan. Rylie would have to re-absorb all their powers from over the years. Rylie would also destroy all their powers and this meant all of the reanimated people would to cease to exist, as well, being that they were reanimated by magic.
The group all nodded, and agreed, including Delaney. She agreed to help her destroy the other reanimations, since she was specially made by Rylie's power. They decided Lily, Kim, Mary and Camille would be the ones to pull all the magic into Rylie, since that would leave Clarence outnumbered and overpowered.
They made their move, and the power draining began. Lucas, Zach, Kyra and Delaney stepped in, ready to be drained directly. Knowing it would damage their physical forms heavily. The magic pullers would also be hurt, but far less significantly when their power was drained and destroyed.
Rylie began to grow bigger as the reanimated folks all started to fade away and become translucent, similar to ghosts, becoming less and less opaque every second. Clarence fought hard, but he was no match. Even his power began to be drained as he tried his best to pull the power into him so it wasn't destroyed.
What's After Death (Is To Celebrate Life)
The end had come. Rylie collapsed onto their back, their form back to normal size, heavily bleached by magic flowing through and out of them. Kyra, standing strong, walked over to them, to say goodbye. Zach and Lucas watched painfully, barely able to hold themselves together, as Rylie's magic flooded out of them, their organic parts half fried. Lily felt a strong disturbance in the magic, even past Rylie's current actions, someone else not amongst them had been effected. Camille, Mary, and Kim all collapsed, trying their best to stand strong through this painful draining process, until it was over. Lastly, Clarence, on his knees, finally saw what he'd done, horrified with himself.
Chapter 5: Who (Are We Now)
(Still) 2025:
Run (Away With Me)
Lucas Cuellar, Zachary Wass, and Kyra Jeffery run away in a panic after Rylie Osmon passes away from the power drain. Unsure of how to handle themselves. They find themselves in a forest, where they find a house. The house has someone standing outside, who seems familiar to the trio. They stare at him as he waves before realizing he is the late Rylie Osmon's half-brother, Alexander Mckaven. They were confused because he hadn't been seen since before Rylie left Earth. The power drain had effected him too, and the group hadn't even thought about that, since Alexander hadn't been there. That being said, it meant they were successful, and that made them sad without their best friend Rylie. They decided to spend some time with Alexander Mckaven, and he offered to let them stay at his house, so they accepted and went inside.
Unexpected Gifts (From Death)
Camille Pfister finally returns home to her family's house, discovering from a piece of mail stating that she was given all of Rylie Osmon's fortune and assets in turn for helping them find themselves, and knowing their half siblings and other friends would be okay without it. This allows her to afford taking care of herself and her family, and decides to go to college. This would change her life for the better.
Search (And Rescue)
The remaining few of the group from the power drain, a.k.a. Mary Tan, Kimberly Boo-Tan, and the late Rylie Osmon's half-sister, Lily Rose reunite on a mission to find the now missing Zachary Wass, Kyra Jeffery, and Lucas Cuellar. The team headed into nature to find their friends. They all hate the cold wintery forest that they first find themselves in, but they persevere, and keep going in their journey.
Together (Once Again)
Mary Tan, Kimberly Boo-Tan, and the late Rylie Osmon's half-sister, Lily Rose discover their missing friends, Zachary Wass, Kyra Jeffery, and Lucas Cuellar living with Alexander Mckaven, Rylie Osmon's half-brother in the forest. This reunites Lily Rose and Alexander Mckaven for the first time in a long while, as siblings. Everyone talks and everyone comes to their senses, including Lily Rose and Alexander Mckaven. This makes Lily Rose decide to stay with Alexander Mckaven and grow their sibling bond, since their other sibling, Rylie Osmon, has passed on.
2026:
Some Stay (Some Go)
Alexander Mckaven and Lily Rose, the late Rylie Osmon's half-siblings, now living together, watch the siblings Mary Tan and Kimberly Boo-Tan celebrate their new house purchase, and offer to help with anything they might need. All of them are finally moving on from the past and taking time to settle down.
She Can (Breathe Again)
Kyra Jeffery takes a minute to smell the flowers and enjoy life, finally coming to terms with her pain from over the years. Kyra realizes she can finally breathe now, and just learn to live life, showing off more of her scars from life and the power drain, wearing shorter clothing and just being happier. She gains access to her full powers, unaware and unsure of how to use them.
All I Have (Is All I Need)
Zachary Wass and Devon Wass stand on a beach, finally able to relax. They both stand stronger with a feeling of being surrounded by their past selves, because of how everything changed over the years. Zach then looks at the water and reminisces about everything he's been through that led them to now. Finally feeling like he can have peace, and can move on with his life, and his partner, Devon, happily.
Yet Another Loss (Hits Us All)
Lucas Cuellar unexpectedly passes out and stops breathing right after leaving his newly rented beach house. He succumbed to a human illness which he wasn't affected by when he had magic, causing him to die from it, now that he had no power protecting him.
Right Back To Square One (All Over Again)
Clarence Forrest goes back to where he used to meet Rylie before they left Earth, reminiscing in his head. He then realized the house was for rent by its current owner, and decides to inquire about renting it for himself.
Dig Deep (Into The Magic)
Kyra Jeffery relaxes and ends up entering the magic, being greeted aggressively by a bunch of familiar faces. She hadn't known this was even possible, and apparently most of the people in the magic realm didn't know it was, either. She was still very alive, so this confused everyone. She recognized Rylie Osmon, Lucas Cuellar, Oliver Macdonald, Jason Patterson, Delaney Forrest, Lawrence Forrest and William Johnson, especially. Celeste Michaels, Oliver Paver, and Christopher Torelli are also here. They all calm down after she explains she doesn't know what's going on, and she gets to see her old friends, once again.
