Written Lore:

Oliver (Paver) was originally human. An incident happened where a creeper exploded behind him while near lava, causing him to fall into it. This, in turn caused him to become a lava monster as well as partially a creeper, while keeping a human-like form.

This experience caused him to despise the world and everything in it. He joined Team Dark Side due to this. Black Cat later gave him an order that would hurt Defeated Cat, which caused him to realize the error of his ways, and he joined Team Bright Side, instead.

Black Cat found out about Oliver joining Team Bright Side and became enraged by his betrayal. He then decided to kill Oliver's best friend Christopher Torelli to torture him. He then killed Oliver himself, but he wanted more.....
