Brenden was a former member of Team Dark Side, but he did not become a member of Team Both Sides. Once Black Cat and Defeated Cat became one, creating Rylie, he decided to kill Rylie in 2024, due to his grudge against Defeated Cat.
He was prepared to do this, as he created a plan to attack and kill Rylie if they ever returned to Earth.
Brenden lived in Team Dark Side's de-commissioned base for old times sake and also because he couldn't let go of the past.
He disappeared in 2021 following the restructuring of Team Bright Side and Team Dark Side into Team Both Sides and Every1-2gether, LLC.
He tried to find Lawrence Forrest during this time, but he could never find him. He attempted this because they used to be both friends, and co-workers.
