Written Lore:
Delaney met and fell in love right away with Lawrence in November of 1995 at a club. In February of 1996 they became a couple. 3 years later, they got married in June of 1999. They later had a son together named Clarence in March of 2001.
Delaney later came into cahoots with Team Bright Side. More specifically, with Team Bright Side's leader at the time, D.C. They met at a park while Clarence was playing, and soon became good friends. They had a long conversation and during it, D.C. told her all about Team Bright Side as well as their enemy, Team Dark Side. He also told her about Black Cat, and how evil he was. She became scared of the possibility of Black Cat hurting her son, and instantly began hating him for all he was. Because of this, she became an ally of Team Bright Side, giving her a sense of protection for her family.
Once Clarence became an adult, Delaney found out that her husband was part of Team Dark Side. Delaney severely hated her husband for this, so she cheated on him, to spite him.
Clarence came home early from school one day and found his mother in bed with another man, and unknowingly to Delaney, her son began to resent and hate her for the cheating, because he had not yet known the reason for her spiteful cheating.
As a result, Clarence murdered (his mom) Delaney but then gained a huge amount of guilt once he found out the reason for his mother's cheating, which she told him in her dying breath, which broke his heart.
